Ciao lucadj.
Ti faccio un piccolo riepilogo, forse perchè sopra mi sono dilungato un pò troppo e non sono stato chiaro:

1. Yum non mi funziona perchè non mi funziona la connessione ethernet

2. il post che mi hi segnalato lo avevo già visto e i dns erano corretti
(se attacco il modem metto 192.168.1.1, se uso la wifi con la rete interna 192.168.0.1)

3. il driver della scheda wifi sono riuscito ad installarlo, tanto che vicino all'orologio vedo la barra del segnale wifi e mi dice Connessione di rete wireless "..." 97%

4. Nonostante ciò non pingo niente!! :(

Adesso cmq provo ad attaccare il cavo e a modificare /etc/sysctl.conf
e ti faccio sapere sempre qui!

Se la wireless non va, o la rete, bastava scaricare il file in una pennina usb ed il gioco era fatto!

ho risolto il problema della wifi.. ho lottato un pò e alla fine è partito tutto. avevo una chiave wep del tipo ASCII128/WEP40 e invece avevo scelto Frase a 128 bit...

2. del cavo non mi importa più niente!!! :)
cmq il dns che vedevi scritto era quello all'interno del router, quindi corretto, non posso mica mettere dentro al router il dns 192.168.1.1, sennò si crea un loop infinito! :)

3. incomincio ad attaccare yum e aggiorno tutto!!!

Nada... sigh.. ho esultato troppo presto...
con la wifi ho praticamente lo stesso problema di connessione che con il cavo eth... dopo un pò mi va in timeout la connessione....

ad es quando lancio un comando yum o apro il browser ho il timeout...

RAGAZZI NON CI CREDERETE MA HO RISOLTO TUTTO!!! (con la mia calma...) :)

il problema era nei DNS... insomma, credo che la colpa sia del router a questo punto...
di solito se imposto sotto windows come DNS 192.168.x.x. A seconda della rete wifi (192.168.0.1) o 192.168.1.1 se uso il route via eth tutto funziona, invece sotto linux le richieste vanno a farsi friggere!!!
Ho impostasto quindi sotto la voce DNS:
DNS PRIMARIO: Tiscali (la mia connessione) 195.130.224.18
DNS SECONDARIO: nameserver.cnr.it 194.119.192.34
DNS TERZIARIO: tin.it 194.243.154.62

e adesso internet va che è una meraviglia!!
Funziona pure YUM!!!!
